Arsenal hung on for a 1-nil victory away at Leeds in a nail-biting encounter. After dominating in the 1st half, Arsenal was mostly on the back-foot in the 2nd, surviving a missed penalty and being rescued by VAR in the final minutes as another penalty call was justly over-ruled. Arteta in his post match presser credited the result to the “courage’ and “resilience” of his team. In our match review, Blackburn George, @arseblagger, and yours truly consider whether luck played a part. To Arteta’s credit, the Arsenal is significantly improved and getting wins (27 points from 10 matches) when in previous years it was losses and draws. Some may think it is disrespectful to suggest an element of luck?
