Today Sat, Jun 26th is our weekly YouTube/Twitter livestream, Topic: “Bye-Bye Bouldy…. Arsenal Don’t Need No Stinkin’ Old Boot Room.”
In the promo I did a knock-off of Rev Martin Niemöller’s poem FIRST THEY CAME.
First they came for Gunnersaurus and I didn’t speak up cause I wasn’t a mascot;
Then they came for the scouts and I didn’t speak up cause I wasn’t a scout;
Then they came for Ozil and I didn’t speak up cause I wasn’t a Turk;
Finally they came for Bouldy and there is no one in the club to speak up.
Since then, based on a poll I did currently running on Twitter, the trend is very clear; most fans regard Bould’s sacking as being of minor relevance or completely irrelevant. Unlike the uproar and virtue signalling when veterans of the club were fired by the Kroenkes in 2018, 2019 and 2020, now very few fans are willing to speak up for Bouldy.
Is this the signal that the Arsenal we once knew, not just the end of positive attractive football but the values of class and integrity, are now gone irretrievably? We discuss this in the livestream with Blackburn george and Ehab.
Remember to subscribe to our YouTube channel to have access to our alternative content and help us defend those precious values that originally attracted most of us to the club.
