Arteta’s Throwing Of Ozil Under The Bus is Unforgivable

Podcast: Mikel Arteta’s Throwing of Mesut Ozil Under the Bus is Unforgivable according to yours truly and Blackburn George, the Arseblagger. In our opinion he not only threw him under but also ran the wheels over him, an act of deceit and disloyalty which makes Arteta unsuitable for the role of manager of Arsenal FC.

We note how the TV broadcasters and Arsenal’s biggest social media accounts literally ignore Arteta’s actions but it cannot conceal the fact that in losing  to Leicester last Sunday Arsenal lacked virtually any creativity, something Ozil could have provided.

Leicester exposed how Arsenal can be easily defeated by any smart counter-attacking team. Due to Arsenal’s very predictable tactics George and I predict another Emery-like downward slide. We made the same prediction during Emery’s 22-game unbeaten run and we see the same signs 6 games into this new season. 10th in the tables and sliding.

We wish it wasn’t so but there is no hiding from the truth.

Great podcast Shotta and George. It seems quite obvious Arteta is more likely to be a Jose Mourinhio rather than a Wenger or Pep. The current regime from top to bottom has destroyed all the values of the club. I knew Arteta cannot replace Arsene Wenger & the class he gave to the club but I never thought he will tarnish the club image both on and off the field.
Wonder the idiot fans wanted us to play like this?.I am sure a fair amount of fans want to play us like this with 1 nil to the Arsenal.
They want result oriented football over Wengerball. I am happy for them to watch such boring fest. I can turn over to watch Leeds , Everton & City for instance to enjoy my football.
Even Frank Lampatd is playing a positive brand of football.
Btw Shotta what do you say about Chelsea winning the title this year.I predict them to win the title over pool.

    • Hi Ros. I think you make good call predicting Chelsea to win the title. They spent £247 million this past window to acquire the likes of Havertz, Werner, Chilwell, Ziyech and last, but by no means least, Mendy to replace the erratic Kepa. Money talks in this league. Their biggest acquisitions have been in the attacking areas of the field but Chilwell and Mendy shore up the defense. have improved in all the attacking positions. By getting younger and better players they are in a much better position to improve on 4th last season and make up the staggering 33 points deficit behind league winner Liverpool. Their only weakness is the squad’s youth and the very few players left in the squad when they last won a title under Conte. But with the best teams failing to show any consistency I agree with you, they will challenge for the title.

Tks Shotta for the quick reply.
You forgot they signed the experienced Thiago Silva as well.

Let’s see how far Chelsea can go to challenge for the title.

It’s so weird we are not discussing our beloved Arsenal on an Arsenal blog.Strange times…

    • Thanks for reminding me of Thiago Silva. Their defending was a big weakness last season but it is noteworthy they put a most of their money into attacking players this past xfer window.

As for discussing Chelsea, unlike many other Arsenal blogs, which are like a cult in their refusal to say anything positive about a rival club, I don’t mind learning from our top-6 competitors. Chelsea has gone more attacking while we have become more defensive. What a remarkable change in philosophy.
