Vanduful Warming up For Arsenal v Crystal Palace

Written by @Vanduful

The two ex Arsenal midfielders will go head to head for the 1st time in the Premier League this seaaon. While Arsenal had a slow start to the season, losing the first 3 matches and scraping past Norwich and Burnley in the next 2 fixtures, they won emphatically against Tottenham hotspurs. Brighton was also a tough test for them which ended in a draw.

Crystal Palace on the other hand have just won one of their last 7 fixtures, that too coming against Arsenal’s North London rivals, Tottenham. in the head to head fixtures of the last 10 games, Palace have won just two matches against Arsenal at the Emirates, the last one coming back in 2019 when Unai Emery was the manager of the club.

Arsenal are a strong team on paper and are in form right now while Palace have been very vulnerable in their defence so far as they’ve drawn 4 matches and won just one. Also with the home advantage, Arsenal are favorites to win against Crystal Palace but it wouldn’t be surprising if Crystal Palace nick a win against the Gunners.

The match is important to both the teams as a win for Arsenal will take them close to the top 6 while a win for Palace will take them above Arsenal in the table.

Regardless of the result, I am expecting a warm welcome by the fans for club legend Patrick Vieira who returns at the Emirates after so many years but this time as a manager of another team.

Welcome Vandful to the Uncensored Arsenal blog.
A nice first read for the debut blog at Uncensored.
Agree to your prediction that it will be an easy home win for Arsenal as Palace are not as great as they were under Hodgson.
